A Scary Impressive Technology: Starting with solemn discussion to a satire.

We are using technologies that can be seen in some Hollywood movies even before their inventions. In reality, they were the imaginations of their directors. At that time, no one could have imagined that this would be possible in the future. I think all the techies know that the present technology is market-based and tracks our day-to-day routine and lifestyle very precisely, but we are still unaware of its limitations.
Does the government or the company know?
Albeit, tech companies always purported that they are trailing government rules regarding personal independence. To what extent is this true? Does the government or the company know? In the past few years, many tech companies have been accused of violating rules of user data and their position tracking. I want to share a recent incident that I observed closely how tech companies could influence our decision-making ability by tracking data of our daily activity to grow their own business. Presently, I am in India’s regional competitor (competitor because we have only one permanent enemy….haha) country and due to language barriers, it is pretty challenging to travel from point ‘A’ to ‘B’ without an electronic map. Hence, the mobile brand that has an active English Language Map application is beneficial (no doubt about the help of this technology). Because some mobile brands have English language maps, but they are not working correctly in this country.

So, the story starts with the new mobile and smartwatch gifted by my wife (It is good not to reveal the brand name). I gained a little weight in the past few months, and because I am health cautious person, so I started running to reduce the weight under my pre-decided level. I wouldn’t say I like to carry a mobile phone while running, I usually run without a mobile phone and same as I did with the smartwatch too. But a few days back, I thought, let’s check how this smartwatch captures my body characteristics while running, so I started wearing smartwatch while running.
Just a day after, I received a couple of notifications related to athletic techniques on the “world’s most popular video-sharing platform” and even on email. At a later stage, I started receiving notifications of some advertisements for mobile applications related to athletic techniques and other paid health-related applications. Just imagine, I did not even search for any ‘Jogging or running’ related material on the internet.
Another example, I was talking to one of my colleagues about the types of exercises related to healing back pain. Later, I got notifications or video recommendations of “sciatica” pain relief exercises and remedies, “is that scary or not?”. I don’t know, is it just a coincidence or maybe a part of the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based technology that is under trial. An AIbased company name CloseBI (not showing its real name) launched their new product named something like “BhatCPT” by https://closebi.com (not showing the actual website address, everyone knows it) launched with limited data mining.
In this CloseBI company, a vast stack already purchased by world’s most considerable computer OS-based company named something like tiny+spongy (I hope you guess the real name of the most popular company). Another tech giant name “foofle”, don’t want to be 2nd in this race. Hence, they also announced their AI-based product name, something like “Fard” (Guess the real name), but it is in under development phase, and its use is limited to very selected people. Anyway, “BhatCPT” in the market with limited data and results are scary impressive. It can write any ‘poem’ or ‘application’ in the ‘Shashi Tharoor’ way of English. So human is entering the next generation of valuable technologies, which will be helpful but also be extraordinary spy.

In conclusion, the story of the Hollywood movie “M3GAN” (this is a real-name of the movie released in the year 2022, watch M3GAN, it’s a story of an AI-based girl robot) can be true to some extent in the future (however, no one knows the exact time). Because we are entering a new technology development phase where it can be possible. I can say that as per my recent experience, in the future, if you have snacks roadside with your friend and your facial expression changes due to those spicy snacks and you will say very spicy. Within a moment, you may receive a notification of nearby ‘Sweet shops’ or ‘chocolate parlor’ on your mobile phone. If you tell your friend today you fought with your girlfriend, you may receive a notification of “How to impress girlfriend right after the fight.” Maybe you are walking and want to release water from your lower body. Perhaps the system of your wristwatch reads all your body’s data and will send a notification of the nearest public washroom on your mobile phone…haha. However, in this case, the technology will be so good it helps the city clean.
So, tighten your seat belt; the connected ecosystem will be on the next level in the future, where all the electronic and electrical things will connect each other, like your car, house, home appliances, and everything else. With the growth of an artificial ecosystem, are there high chances of losing something precious? like a loveable fight between siblings regarding who will stand and open the door if someone is knocking. Let’s make our own list of things we don’t want to lose as technology advances. Finally, whenever my wife will read this article, she will surely ask me where did you find the time to write this?
